We’re headed to Cannes!

At Deloitte Digital, we believe creativity is woven into every aspect of a business in our digital era. That’s why Heat + Deloitte Digital is headed to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity this month.

At Deloitte Digital, we’ve spent a lot of time thinking about how to redefine creativity. While creativity still resides deeply with the advertisers and the marketers of the world, we believe that it’s woven into every part of a business. And because of that, there's a whole new type of creative process emerging in our dynamic, digital world.

That’s why Heat + Deloitte Digital is headed to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, June 17 to 24. At the Cannes Lion festival, we’ll honor the new creatives who are bringing this process to the forefront of business today. We’ll be out and about and at the Heat + Deloitte Digital Cabana. Come talk to us and learn about our new creative digital consultancy model, where clients no longer have to work with multiple agencies and consulting firms – both creative and business strategy now come from the same team.

Young Lions School

Cannes Lions has been training the creative industry since 1995. In that time the Young Lions has evolved from a one-off competition for rising creative stars to a week-long event that includes extensive and varied learning programs and competitions for multiple disciplines and career stages. Heat + Deloitte Digital will sponsor the Young Lions Academies and competition to honor these new creatives.

“Future Face of Creativity” documentary

To define and capture the new paradigm of creativity, Wired and Deloitte Digital will team up at Cannes to produce the short documentary “The Future Face of Creative.” The film will tell the story behind the Young Lions competition, showcase the competitors and their journeys, and highlight what creativity means today. Tune into Deloitte Digital’s social channels both during and after Cannes for a sneak peek of what’s to come!

Heat + Deloitte Digital: The Experience is Virtual, the Wine is Not

Tuesday, June 20 to Thursday, June 22, 3 to 5 p.m.
Heat + Deloitte Digital Cabana

Heat + Deloitte Digital are teaming up to alter your reality through our first-ever, five-sensory, virtual-reality experience, hosted at our onsite cabana. Discover “Bringing Art to Life,” an experience that uses VR to give life to wine notes. And sample “Digital Seasoning,” an exploration of how VR can alter how wine tastes.

We’ll continue to bring the experience of wine into the digital age on the cabana terrace. Heat + Deloitte Digital will create digital music inspired by tasting notes from three different wines. We’ll give new meaning to familiar terms like bright, earthy, or full-bodied.

The Female Quotient (aka Girls Lounge)

Deloitte Digital + Facebook: Big Change for Big Brands: Managing through Digital Transformation

Deloitte Digital is teaming up with Facebook to help our clients rewire their marketing models, systems, and capabilities to meet the pressures they face in an increasingly demanding business climate. As part of this alliance, Facebook and Deloitte Digital recently issued a global study to marketers around the world to rank their own Digital DNA— that is, how digital their organizations are. Join us as we discuss the study results and hear real-world transformation stories from iconic brands, Heineken and Philips, moderated by Facebook's Vice President of Global Agency, Patrick Harris.

Meet Heatbot, the on-the-ground inspiration assistant right in the Palais. Rather than bombard you with things you don’t actually want the Heatbot allows users to decompress amongst the hustle and bustle of the busiest week of the year. What’s on the Heatbot’s mind when you chat with it? Self-care, inspiration, and a touch of surprise. Accompanying the Heatbot will be an interactive LED screen that changes colors and mood complete with gifs based on what the user is chatting about with the Heatbot.

Deloitte Digital’s CMO Alicia Hatch, Head of Deloitte Digital Andy Main, Deloitte CMO Diana O’Brien, and other marketing leaders from Heat and Monitor Deloitte will be participating in a variety of activities, including speaking on panels, mentoring Young Lions, and networking onsite. And Deloitte Digital will also collaborate with some of our alliances through various activities and events.
