AMBITION
Turning uni applications into lifelong destinations
Every year, high-school leavers are forced to make big decisions about a future that’s never felt less certain. What if they were empowered to believe their choice of university could become a lifelong reward?
Swinburne wanted to draw attention to its emerging and priority degrees, in hugely relevant areas like cybersecurity, climate change and the global economy. Areas where students could really have an impact – if they could see beyond their application.
ACTION
Taking learnings from classroom to career
Swinburne tasked Deloitte Digital with tapping into the decision-making process. Its new degrees represented so much more than time spent in lecture theatres and group assignments. Swinburne students would have opportunities beyond imagining, from classroom to career.
Our next gen_degrees campaign took the paper degree and transformed it into the real-world impact it will become. The code breaking that revolutionises AI. The tech discovery that feeds the world’s hungry. Saving endangered species or fighting for justice or sending humanity to Mars.
Rolled out across video, digital audio, digital display, social, static, and animated OOH, and with creative executions to get max value from placements, next gen_degrees captured the imaginations and ambitions of school leavers across Melbourne.
ACHIEVEMENT
Recognised by prospective students everywhere
The campaign positioned Swinburne as a progressive, innovative, alternative, and inclusive university, and cemented it as a place that ‘brings people and tech together for a better world’.
By demonstrating how a Swinburne degree today can transform your future tomorrow, more prospective students recognise that a degree from Swinburne is so much more than a piece of paper.
