New problem
Many companies are leaving a lot of value on the table
To compete in an ever-changing world, just about every business on earth needs digital transformation. But Deloitte analysis of global transformation trends showed that most companies are leaving a lot of value on the table.
Rapidly changing technology, loose definitions on the purpose of digital transformation, and an industry built on the fear of not changing fast enough, have all created an industry where vast sums of money are being spent with no measurable outcomes to show for the change.

A new way of thinking
73% of all money spent on digital transformation around the world appears to make no meaningful impact on the businesses that paid to have it done. That adds up to around USD $1.7 trillion globally per annum.
It was time for someone to help business leaders sit back, rethink their approach to transformation, and make sure they're getting the most of it.

Doing better for people, business and the world
Deloitte Digital New Zealand was asked to help shine a spotlight on the issue, so, working with our talented friends in motion graphics at Assembly, we created a world to help us impress the scale of that issue on everyone. All the while reminding the world's organisations that in that context they have a responsibility to do better for their people, their businesses, and the world.
Because the money the world spends on change, could change the world.
