Hästens manufactures the world’s most comfortable beds – custom made in Sweden from natural materials. While the craft behind their bespoke products hasn’t changed for decades, the world has. Since 2018 we’ve partnered with Hästens to elevate their Salesforce setup to improve customer and employee experience, in-store processes, global store expansion, marketing automation and customer relationship management.
A tailored experience for a bespoke product
Hästens is a design-driven company since 1852. Together we have embarked on a journey to transform their business for the future without compromising with their fundamental beliefs in quality and craftsmanship. Through an experience-led approach, we designed tailored solutions prioritising the needs of humans first, and then worked step-by-step to make them a reality from a technical perspective. A design process that echoes how Hästens have crafted their renowned beds for generations.

More quality time
One of the remarkable business outcomes of our collaboration is the Hästens Retail System. It’s a native iOS app built on Salesforce that enables Hästens in-store sales associates and managers to cut down time spend on configuration and ordering from 20–30 minutes to only 2–3 minutes, meaning they can focus more on the customer experience. The app has additionally reduced the number of errors in orders as well as a streamlined onboarding process for employees. We developed the concept in close collaboration with Salesforce and the Apple Enterprise Design Lab in Cupertino.
The Hästens Retail System app has generated improvement so substantial it was one of the cases presented by Apple CEO Tim Cook at Dreamforce ’19.
