Open Only to Legal Residents OF THE fifty (50) UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA who are of legal age of majority in the jurisdiction in which they reside (and at least 18 years old); HAVE AN active, “public” (and not “protected”) account with Twitter (www.twitter.com). PARTNERS, PRINCIPALS, AND Employees of deloitte consulting LLP (“SPONSOR”) AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES and Employees of federal, state and local government are not eligible. Void Where Prohibited. To enter: sweepstakes will be held from 8:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (“PST”) on October 13, 2014, and end on October 16, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. PST (the Sweepstakes Period”). To enter obtain a ‘green dot’ button from the Deloitte Digital booth #N1501 or check @DeloitteDigi_US twitter handle for buttons placed at other locations during the conference and tweet a photo each day of the Sweepstakes period meeting the following criteria:
First Entry: To enter on Monday, October 13th: Tweet out a photo of yourself wearing one of the Deloitte Digital Green Dot buttons while at “The journey to the Perfect Sale, the Perfect Order” breakout session in Theatre 5 at the Conference using hashtags #DeloitteDigital and #DF14 between 10:45 a.m PST and 1:15 p.m. PST. Winners will be announced at the Deloitte Digital Conference booth #N1501 at 5:00 p.m. PST.
Second Entry: To enter on Tuesday, October 14th: Tweet out a photo of yourself wearing a Deloitte Digital Green Dot button while at the Conference using hashtags #DeloitteDigital and #DF14 between 8:00 a.m PST and 4:15 p.m. PST. Winners will be announced at the Deloitte Digital Conference booth #N1501 at 5:00 p.m. PST
Third Entry: To enter on Wednesday, October 15th: Tweet out a photo of yourself wearing a Deloitte Digital Green Dot button while at the Conference using hashtags #DeloitteDigital and #DF14 between 8:00 a.m PST and 4:15 p.m. PST. Winners will be announced at the Deloitte Digital Conference booth #N1501 at 5:00 p.m. PST.
Fourth Entry: To enter on Thursday, October 16th: Tweet out a photo of yourself wearing a Deloitte Digital Green Dot button while at the Conference using hashtags #DeloitteDigital and #DF14 between 8:00 a.m PST and 4:15 p.m. PST. Winners will be announced at the Deloitte Digital Conference booth #N1501 at 5:00 p.m. PST.
Fifth Entry: To enter: Tweet out a photo of yourself wearing a Deloitte Digital Green Dot button while at the Conference using hashtags #DeloitteDigital and #DF14 between 8:00 a.m PST on Tuesday, October 14th and 4:15 p.m. PST on Thursday, October 16th. Winners will be announced at the Deloitte Digital Conference booth #N1501 at 5:00 p.m. PST.
Alternatively, entrants may enter the Daily Sweepstakes by sending their name via email each day of the Sweepstakes Period to Brian Meehan at bmeehan@deloitte.com with a subject line that says “Dreamforce® 2014 Daily Sweepstakes entry.” All submissions regardless of method of entry, for the Dreamforce® 2014 Daily Sweepstakes must be received by 4:15 PST on October 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th 2014 respectively, to be entered in that day’s drawing. Multiple entries for each daily drawing are not acceptable. In addition, entrants cannot use multiple Twitter accounts or email addresses to enter. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated or mechanical means or by any means which subvert the entry process are void. All entries must be submitted via personal Twitter accounts, or any email account. Entries submitted via company Twitter accounts are void. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Tweets and photos must comply with the following content guidelines to be eligible:
- Content cannot be sexually explicit or suggestive, unnecessarily violent or derogatory of any ethnic, racial, gender, religious, professional or age group, profane or pornographic, or contain nudity;
- Content cannot promote alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, firearms/weapons (or the use of any of the foregoing), any activities that may appear unsafe or dangerous, or any particular political agenda or message;
- Content cannot contain copyrighted materials owned by others (including photographs, sculptures, paintings and other works of art or images published on or in websites, television, movies or other media) without permission from the copyright owner;
- Content cannot contain company names or trademarks other than those of Sponsor and its affiliates.
- Content cannot be obscene or offensive, endorse any form of hate or hate group;
- Content cannot defame, misrepresent or contain disparaging remarks about Sponsor or other people, products or companies;
- Content cannot contain materials embodying the names, likenesses, photographs, or other indicia identifying any person, living or dead, without permission;
- Content cannot communicate messages or images inconsistent with the positive images and/or goodwill to which Sponsor wishes to associate; and
- Content cannot depict a violation of any law and cannot itself be in violation of any law.
All photos submitted must be the original work of the participant, may not have been previously published, may not have won previous awards or been submitted in any other contest, and must not infringe upon the copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other intellectual property or other rights of any person or entity. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any submission that it determines, in its sole and absolute discretion, is offensive or inappropriate, or that is otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules. A potential winner will be disqualified if Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion that awarding a prize to such potential winner may violate professional standards to which Sponsor or its affiliates are subject. Employees of federal, state and local government are not eligible to win a prize. Should your company’s policies prohibit you from accepting a prize, please inform us.
WINNERS: One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing held at the end of each of the four (4) days during the Sweepstakes Period from all eligible entries received, with the exception of Wednesday when an additional winner will be selected for an additional prize. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The potential winners will be announced at 5:00 p.m. PST each day of the Sweepstakes Period at the Deloitte Digital Conference booth #N1501. Winners must provide the name of their current employers to the Sponsor to claim their prize. The winner may be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and, unless prohibited by law, Publicity Release (“Affidavit/Release”), which must be received fully-executed within seven (7) days of date of notification to potential winner or potential winner may be disqualified. If a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, Sponsor is unable to contact a potential winner within a reasonable time period or a potential winner is not in compliance with these Official Rules, has failed to execute and return any required documents within the specified time period, or has made false statements, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner selected. Limit one (1) prize each day of the Sweepstakes Period, per person/Twitter account/email address/household.
- PrizeS: A total of five (5) prizes will be awarded during the Sweepstakes Period as follows:
- First Entry: One (1) GoPro HERO3+® Silver Cam (Approximate Retail Value (“APV”) is $299);
- Second Entry: One (1) GoPro HERO3+® Silver Cam (APV is $299);
- Third Entry: One (1) Jambox® Speaker (APV is $149);
- Fourth Entry: One (1) Jambox® Speaker (APV is $149);
- Fifth Entry: One (1) Cubify® Cube 3D Printer (APV is $999).
Each prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Sponsor. Winner may not substitute, assign or transfer prize, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute prize of comparable or greater value. Winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes associated with acceptance and use of a prize as well as any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being awarded. All prize details are at Sponsor’s discretion.
General Conditions: Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for any lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, undelivered, delayed or garbled entries, surveys or email; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or malfunctions of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, network typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or malfunctions which may occur in connection with the administration of the sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize or in any sweepstakes-related materials.
Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes.
Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the website. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the sweepstakes or website, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified.
Should any portion of the sweepstakes be, in Sponsor’s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the sweepstakes and select the potential winner from all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to action taken.
Entrants, by participating, agree that Deloitte LLP, Deloitte & Touche LLP, Deloitte Tax LLP, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP, Deloitte Consulting LLP, Deloitte Services LP, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited (“DTTL”), and any and all DTTL associate and member firms, all of their respective past, present and future parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, related entities, joint venturers, subcontractors, agents, attorneys, insurers, benefit plans, fiduciaries, subrogees, co-insurers and reinsurers, all their respective past, present and future officers, directors, employees, members, partners, principals, shareholders and owners, and all their respective heirs, executors, administrators, personal representatives, predecessors, successors, transferees and assigns, Twitter, Inc., and Salesforce.com, Inc., (collectively, the “Released Parties”) will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by entrants against, any liability, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including death, to persons, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize or participation in this sweepstakes.
Winner, by acceptance of prize, except where legally prohibited, grants permission to Sponsor and its designees to use his/her name, address (city and state), Twitter handle, email address, submitted picture and accompanying Tweet, photograph, voice and/or other likeness and prize information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without further compensation, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide, and on the Internet and world wide web, in perpetuity, without notice or review or approval.
In the event of a dispute regarding entries received from multiple users having the same Twitter handle or email address, the authorized subscriber of the Twitter account or e-mail account at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant and must comply with these Official Rules. Authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the Twitter account or the e-mail address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning Twitter accounts, or e-mail addresses by or on behalf of the Sponsor or any Released Party or recognized by the Sponsor or any Released Party.
GOVERNING LAW/DISPUTES: By entering the sweepstakes, participants agree that (i) any and all disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA to the extent permitted by law, and (ii) any legal action or proceeding relating to the Sweepstakes shall be instituted in a state or federal court in New York City, New York, USA, and participants agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of, and agree that venue is proper in, these courts in any such action or proceeding, to the extent permitted by law.
