During the last year we have seen significant developments with the Internet of Things (IoT). Join Deloitte Digital at Internet of Things World 2016 in Santa Clara, California, May 10 to 12, to learn about the next wave of IoT innovation.
Andy Daecher, Deloitte Digital’s Internet of Things practice leader, will speak at IoT World on May 11, at 2:20 p.m., concerning the impact of IoT in the life sciences and health care markets, particularly on patient monitoring and adherence. Chronic diseases are responsible for many deaths in the U.S. each year, and treating people with chronic diseases accounts for a majority of our nation’s health care costs. Improving patient adherence—the degree to which patients follow physician advice—even in a minority of patients can have great impact on patient recovery rates and reduce the overall health care financial burden. Andy’s talk will explore ways that IoT can drive improvements in patient health and help lower health care costs.
IoT World hosts more than 10,000 attendees, 300 industry thought leaders, and 150 exhibitors annually. The event assesses the key horizontal challenges affecting a range of vertical markets and features dedicated tracks concerning industry-specific issues.
