Now in its 105th year, retail’s oldest and largest industry gathering promises to be its biggest ever – with more than 33,000 attendees from a who’s who list of retailers spanning the department store, specialty, luxury, discount, grocery, health and beauty, convenience store and food and beverage markets.
Major themes for this year’s Big Show include global markets, organizational dynamics,inspired by tech, experience retailing and retail cool. Tuesday, January 19, 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. – Retail leaders from top brands will dive into the challenges facing today’s retailers and provide a look into the future of the industry, the role digital is playing and the evolving business ecosystem in which brands operate. Rod Sides, Deloitte’s U.S. Retail and Distribution Sector Leader, will co-present the afternoon keynote entitled “Retail Disrupted: Navigating the Digital Age” with guest speakers Paul Gainer, EVP, Disney Retail, Disney Consumer Products; John White, COO & EVP, Fossil Group, Inc.; and Christiana Shi, President, Global Direct to Consumer, NIKE, Inc.
